For the price, Wordbook or WordNet are much better. For 2 or 3 dollars however, this would be a 4 star app. One of the problems with this dictionary is that it doesnt have unique definitions for all words, but rather gives you the definition a word that is a synanom instead. Definately not worth $7.99.

Love the new speaker!

I was real happy with this app until it went from 12.4mb to practically 100mb. "Speech synthesis" is neat, but not worth an 800% increase in the size of the app.

Thesaurus needs to be added other wise great app & slash the price as well too expensive compared to other apps !

I use this app everyday at school, it is simply amazing! However, I refuse to upgrade to the newest version because they changed the icon, I love the old one and think the new one is quite cluttered. Change the icon back, and Ill continue to upgrade. Still worth every penny though. =]

This app has been updated many times unlike some other dictionary barely get updated each update adds new features/ functions, which I really liked Highly recommand it!!!

Really a great, great product. The design is simple, straight-forward & aesthetically comfortable. Its intuitive, fairly snappy & so far bugless. I just have a few suggestions for it to reach perfection: 1. Letter-by-letter suggestion like in WeDict & words that sound alike like in Dictionaire. 2. Why are the definitions in brackets? 3. Some words are still missing pronunciation. 4. Possible introduction of audio for pronunciation. 5. Snappier response when pressing search button & when selecting word from suggestion list. Beautiful application, I suggest everybody download this.

The additional functions like translation thesaurus etc. Make this one a real value app.

This needs to be I phone 5 compatible doesnt fit screen. I bought this app because the icon is really cool on I phone 4 but now I have I phone 5 and now the icon looks blotched

I use wifi and 3G as little as possiable because the service is slow at times. That has nothing to do with the app., just SoftBank can be busy at times. This a very handy app., thanks

Its the best dictionary Ive used. And its only 5 bucks. The developer is constantly updating so if you want something done and you tell them it chances it will be done.
